Bridport Hat Festival '16

hat_fest_300Briport's famous Hat Festival takes place on Friday 2nd September and Saturday 3rd September 2016 (main day), at locations throughout the town.

The Hat Festival has enough to keep the whole family entertained with Bridport’s eclectic Saturday market, trade stalls and music throughout the town. Children will love the storytelling in the library on Saturday morning at 11, the street entertainment and all the fun goings-on in Millennium Green.

Guitar Echos

GUITAR ECHOES  A unique collaboration between award winning classical guitarist Samantha Muir and Josie Elias RHS Photographer of the Year 2012

Josie's stunning photos will be projected in slideshow videos while Samantha performs works by JS Bach, Tarrega, Torroba, Villa-Lobos, Sor and others. The themed slideshows include photos of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Minterne Gardens in Dorset, Castles of Spain, Almond Blossom and landscapes of Australia.

footballpitchNew under 6 football team. The first session will be on Monday 15th Feb, 6-7pm at colfox school. It's for any children that are currently in reception. The first session will be a free taster session. Antique and Vintage Sunday

The Antique & Vintage Sunday is a monthly affair on last Sunday throughout the year in the Art & Vintage Quarter on the St Michael’s Trading Estate.

All the Antique & Vintage shops and The Alleyways Antique Centre are open so there’s plenty to see, do and buy.

The Red Brick Café will be open 11:00am to 3:00pm serving everything from their amazing cooked breakfasts, gastronomic delights for lunch and there are always their wonderful choices of freshly made cakes to enjoy with a cup tea or coffee.
